final design

this is my final design piece my full on robot that I am going to take into Maya

posing silhouettes

theses are the different posed silhouettes I did for my final design it allows me to look at different poses i can have my final piece.

robotic joints

in this lesson we looked at human joints but we redesigned them to be robotic in nature and design. 

development sketches

these are the final development sketches for my main robot I looked at different heads I drew. I then picked a head and started drawing out different poses for my creature.

robot arm

This is the robot arm I did using images of my own arm I used a couple tools I wouldn't normally but I will use them a lot more in other work.

scrap parts

in this lesson we cut out lots of parts of mechanical objects and we drew a robot or extended on it creating a lot weird designs

20 initial sketches

 these are the original 20 sketches i did. I looked at many different forms i will take these ideas further in my work

texture paintings

 In this lesson we looked at different textures I copied a rusty old pipe and then used paints to recreate the textures.

we did this a couple days after the original but this time we used lots of materials like sand and a lot of paper.
